Basic First Aid for Animals:

The course will focus on using compassion, common sense and logic and provide vital information when confronted with an animal emergency or treatment of a sick animal. Particular needs and adminstration of care for all life stages will be addressed.

To include, CPR; recognizing and responding to an animal medical emergency; proper restraint and transportation of an injured or sick animal; adminiistration of medications including insulin injections and sub-cutaneous fluids; and necesasry equipment and supplies for a complete first aid kit.
